How to Copy and Paste Steps in Your Campaigns

We’re excited to show you one of the most convenient features in our campaign management tool: copying and pasting steps! 🎉 Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started, this feature is a game-changer for saving time and effort. Plus, we’ll also guide you through saving steps as templates for future use. Ready to dive in? Let’s go!

Copying and Pasting Steps:

1. Access Your Campaign: Log in to your Skylead account and head over to the campaign creation page.

2. Navigate to the Step: Scroll down to find the step you want to copy. It could be an Invite to Connect, a Message, an InMail, or an Email.

3. Select the Step: Click on the step to highlight it. You’ll see some options pop up.
   

4. Copy the Step: Click on the copy icon in the top right corner of your selected step. 📋
   

5. Paste the Step: Your duplicated step will appear on the canvas as soon as you click the "Duplicate" button. You can then connect it with other steps in the sequence.
   

6. Adjust as Needed: After pasting, you can edit the step to customize it for the new location if necessary. This could include updating links, changing images, or tweaking the text to better fit the context. When you are done with editing just connect your step with the flow.

7. Save Your Changes: No need to worry about hitting save; all your changes are automatically saved! 😊

Saving a Step as a Template:

1. Create Your Step: Start by designing a step within your campaign as you normally would.

2. Prepare for Saving: Once you’re happy with the step, make sure it’s selected or highlighted.

3. Access the Template Option: Look for the option to save the step as a template. 📂
   

4. Name Your Template: Give your template a descriptive name so you can easily recognize it later.

5. Save the Template: Click on the "Submit" button to finalize the process. Your step is now saved as a reusable template!
   

6. Access Your Templates: To locate your step template, navigate to the Template Library. 📚
   

7. Select and Customize: Choose the template you want to use, and it will be added to your campaign. From there, you can customize it as needed to fit the specific requirements of your campaign.
