1. Adjust Your Outlook Settings ✅
- First things first, hop into your Outlook account. Click that little settings gear icon ⚙️ at the top.
- Navigate to ‘Sync email’. Make sure to enable the option ‘Let devices and apps use POP’. Just click ‘yes’ and you’re good to go!
Now, hit the Save button, and boom! You’ve aced step one. 🎯
2. Generate a Secure Password (If You Have 2-Factor Authentication) 🔐
- Head over to your Outlook profile settings. You can find it in the top-right corner. Click on ‘My Microsoft Account’. In the main menu, go to ‘Security’ and then ‘Advanced Security options’. Here’s a shortcut for you: account.microsoft.com/security 🔗. Look for ‘App Passwords’ and click on ‘Create new password’. Copy the password you get – you’ll need it soon for setting up the SMTP server.

3. Enter Your Info on Skylead 🖥️
- Now, let’s jump back into your Skylead account. Go to Settings > Email settings. Click on Add button and select the Custom Outlook template.
Next, fill in the following details:
- Username: Your email address.
- Password: The password you just generated.
You’ll also need SMTP and IMAP IP addresses and port numbers. A quick Google search for ‘Outlook port numbers’ should give you all the info you need in no time. ⏱️
